As an artist, one of my major goals in life is to bring more beauty into this world. Whether that be accomplished with portraits of beautiful faces, or capturing a certain colour in a centre-piece for a dinner table, beauty is beauty, you can find it anywhere, even in the most mundane objects that you would overlook in your everyday life. With that said, there's nothing like shooting smiles radiating from a child, or sharing laughter with a fun couple on their wedding day and capturing these moments on camera.

Too often, we don't focus on the subject we're photographing. I prefer super-close framing and enhancing photos to really highlight the special little details. Sometimes that means lots of rich, vibrant colour, but the features that black & white or sepia can give you are timeless. Natural-light is also key for me. There is nothing more special than natural light hitting a face just so, to make it glow.

My objective is to catch you in your comfort zone and really show your personality. That's why I do mostly at home or on site shoots. At home is where we are most like ourselves, and we let our inhibitions go. I want true smiles.

Comfort is key, when you're laughing and relaxed, the expressions emerge, and it's there where I step in and snap away.
